Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution .
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
“These kinds of items being sold, generally online, have actually gone through no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their security.
“You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
